The Big Tree Project is thrilled to announce that they are the official offsetting partner of Miss Earth UK. The Big Tree Project will be offsetting the grand final of Miss Earth Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland - hosted on Saturday 30th August 2008.
One of the glamourous finalists of Miss Earth Scotland, Gillian Murphy, discovered that The Big Tree Project is doing such an important job in helping the environment. So much so, that she has decided to auction the stunning dress that she wore for the Glasgow finals, and donate the proceeds to The Big Tree Project .
To show their gratitide, The Big Tree Project are offering to match the donation tree-for-tree. So if Gillian raises enough to plant 30 trees, then The Big Tree Project will plant 60 in total.More information on Gillian's auction is available here.
